Default The Swiss national hockey team are beasts

Credit where credit is due. They deserved a better result than their lousy group assignment produced.

Loss is still a loss in a tournament. Good Luck next time.

True that. But as an American watching them play the US and Canadians the way they did, I can't help but think that this was a team that deserved to be in the bronze medal game. Instead, they got eaten by a Group of Death.

The team who lost to Slovakia in a shootout and is about to lose to Canada over9000 to 0?

All three groups featured at least 2 fairly strong teams.
USA/Canada, Russia/Czech Republic, Finland/Sweden.

Though I was definitely impressed by the Swiss in this tournament. Give 'em a few years and they might really be a bronze threat.

Teams lose, it happens. You don't get a medal for effort. You have to beat the best to be the best so I don't get why you should hope for playing shitty seeds because when you win it looks less deserving.

Good luck in 2014.

Hiller was tired out by his terrible defence.

Good luck in 2014.
